When we last saw the Broncos under the Friday night lights, they were putting the finishing touches on a 40-15 win as 20-point favorites over Toledo three weeks ago. Since then, Kellen Moore and company have gone through the motions in double-digit SU no-cover wins over Tulsa and Nevada. We expect more of the same tonight in Fresno as Boise continues its march to perfection and a probable non-title BCS bowl invitation. Though we feel Boise can play with anyone in the country, we understand there is just not enough quality on this year’s schedule to warrant a top two ranking. And off its biggest revenge win in school history, we’re just not sure how much motivation the Broncos will have against an opponent it has beaten like a drum for five straight seasons (to the tune of 242-86), including a 51-0 whitewashing last year. Bodog sportsbook currently have the Broncos listed as 20-point favorites versus the Bulldogs, and the game's total is sitting at 57. As it is, Boise is just 1-3 ATS after dealing with Nevada and 1-4 ATS as favorites of more than eight points in the first of back-to-back roadies. Toss in the Bulldogs’ 8-1 ATS mark as non-conference home dogs, 18-4 SU record at home off a previous home game and HC Pat Hill’s 22-5-1 ATS log as a non-conference dog of more than 5 points and maybe the Broncos will get tested tonight in central California. Nah – it will be just another walk in the park against these pups and no reason to unleash the big dogs for a full 60 minutes. We’ll gnaw on the three-touchdown bone.
