The Badgers was a 51-17 winner at home against UNLV. They failed to cover the 35–point spread as favorites. We define a ‘Mission’ team as one coming off a losing campaign that was preceded by three or more winning betting seasons. And while we’re never anxious to back OT losers (especially ones that lose at home to FCS squads), these teams on a mission have performed extremely well as dogs on the non- conference highway, posting a 44-27 ATS mark. Despite that stunning, 29-28 OT loss to Sacramento State, the Beavers did win the ‘In The Stats’ battle by 129 yards – a small consolation for the Corvallis crew. With our database giving out mixed signals (Oregon State 0-6 ATS Game Two, Wisconsin 4-8 ATS as non-conference hosts off a home game and 3-6 ATS as favorites versus the PAC-10), we’ll accept the mission and leave it to the Beavers to grab the cover. Sportsbooks have the Badgers listed as 20½-point favorites versus the Beavers, and the game's total is sitting at 56½. Betting trends to consider:
