 The Bowling Green Falcons and the Buffalo Bulls will fight on Friday at UB Stadium.
The 4-7 Bee Gees needed a win last week at home against Ohio to ‘stay alive’ for bowl contention but they started to do some ‘Jive Talkin’ and let a 9-point fourth-quarter lead slip away.
Thus, Dave Clawson’s crew will be home for Christmas for a second consecutive season.
That defl ating loss should have us roaming with the Bulls, especially after Buffi e’s 51-10 dismantling of Akron last week.
However, the boys from upstate New York haven’t prospered after victories of late, posting a 2-8 SU and 2-7-1 ATS mark off a SU win, including 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS under second-year HC Jeff Quinn. ‘How Deep is our Love’ for this game?

 Thank goodness there are 118 other lined teams in college football because if we had to make a living out of just handicapping the Aggies and the Longhorns all season, we’d be begging the aforementioned Paris Hilton for a job in one of her grandfather’s hotels.
We should have known that it was only a matter of time before talented A&M took out a season’s worth of frustration on an out-manned foe but how many times can you play with fi re before getting burned?
And speaking of getting burned, the Longhorns cost us a sweep of last week’s NCAA Best Bets as they lost outright at home to Kansas State as 9-point favorites, despite limiting the Wildcats a season-low 121 yards.
Well, rather than fl ip a coin (which would have produced better results in accessing these two this season) we’ll do what we do best and that’s to grab the points.

 Southern Cal Trojans meet the Oregon Ducks on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.
The Ducks laid waste to Stanford’s dream of a perfect season with last week’s 53-30 humbling of the Cardinal.
But that win presents Southern Cal with an almost divine opportunity.
Should the Trojans upset Oregon and defeat an overmatched UCLA team, they can claim both the Pac-12 South crown and a win over the North’s representative in the inaugural conference championship – thus, effectively making USC the league’s ‘true’ champion on the field.
This is the Trojans’ bowl game, and they could care less about the Ducks’ 21-game home win streak.

LSU Tigers against Mississippi Rebels in Week 12 Battle |

 LSU Tigers and the Mississippi Rebels will fight on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
After their previous week’s battle in Tuscaloosa, was it any surprise that the Tigers took off the fi rst half of last week’s game against Western Kentucky?
Not to us, as we basically had the margin (LSU by 34) pegged. And like WKU, can Ole Miss really be taken seriously... especially with Arkansas on deck?
Yes, the Rebs are an SEC team but hell, let’s face it, they were home dogs to Louisiana Tech. And with the striped ones 6-1 ATS as conference road favorites of 13 or more points, the only real concern for the Mad Hatter is that look-ahead to Boss Hog and company.
However, a concern for our bankroll is LSU’s seven ATS wins in 28 conference games under Miles when playing off back-to-back SU wins.
