The Southern Miss Golden Eagles and the UAB Blazers will fight tonight at Legion Field and you can watch all the betting action at CBSC.
Despite outscoring the aforementioned Tigers, 24-0, in the fourth quarter last week in Memphis to secure a 41-35 victory and move out of the Conference USA East basement, the Blazers are another double-digit home dog that we want no part of (there must be something in the water this week).
Neil Callaway’s crew are not exactly known as strong fi nishers (1-3 SU, 0-4 ATS in the fi nal two games of the season since 2009) and are just 1-5 ATS after their annual battle with Memphis to avoid the conference cellar.
That’s a far different perspective from Larry Fedora’s Golden Eagles who occupy the Eastern penthouse for the first time in five years and can clinch the division with a win tonight in Legion Field.

This FSN televised game between the Marshall Thundering Herd and the Memphis Tigers will be on Thursday at Liberty Bowl.
It’s a good thing that the Tar Heels are on this Thursday card because the inept Tigers are one pup (as well as UAB below) that we will not be backing anytime soon.
Why should we? Larry Porter’s house has yet to see a league win (0-7 SU at home versus Conference USA foes under his command) and his kittens are not ‘well-done’ in the cover department either, posting a 1-6 ATS log.
In fact, the Liberty Bowl Stadium crowd has witnessed only two ‘rare’ home wins in Porter’s two seasons and one of those was against FCS Austin Peay – a game which marked Memphis’ only ‘ITS’ win of the betting season.

The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Mississippi State Bulldogs will face each other on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.
Don’t shoot the messenger. Yes, the knee-jerk reaction would be to roll with the Tide but Saban’s squad is in a classic BUBBLE BURST letdown role tonight in Starkville.
In fact, the stark reality is: 6-0 or greater teams who suffer their first loss of the season in overtime are 0-4 ATS as favorites the following game since the inception of overtime games in college football.
Heck, even the ‘Nictator’ is just 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS with ‘Bama off a SU favorite loss, including 0-4 ATS versus .666 or less opposition.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and the LSU Tigers will fight on Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
We’re not talking letdown by LSU this week… we’re talking MAJOR comedown off the Tigers’ monumental overtime win at Tuscaloosa last Saturday night in prime time.
Bayou Bengals are also a classic fade in our ‘Brilliant Disguise’ angle, which tells us to: go against any favorite off a SU underdog win over a previously undefeated foe.
The Bayou Bengals have sure made hay against the Sun Belt, harvesting a highly profitable 8-1 ATS mark payday.
Unfortunately, the Tigers are also just 2-6 ATS off a SU dog win in SEC play, plus they’re a weak 3-7 ATS after tangling with the Tide.
