Texas El Paso vs. BYU OddsThe kick off college football's 2010 bowl season will be Brigham Young and Texas-El Paso, they meet in the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Albuquerque.

With 28-7-1 lead in the series ledger BYU won 25 of the last 27 matchups between the schools and is the first time that the Miners and the Cougars met on a neutral field.

On the last meeting against Utah, the Cougars loss 17-16, they will expect a better result against the Miners.

Bodog sportsbook currently have the Cougars listed as 11½-point favorites against the Miners, and the total is sitting at 50 for the New Mexico Bowl on December 18th, 2010.

UTEP are expecting to beat the Cougars on the New Mexico Bowl, with a regular season and averaging 26.2 points and 371 yards per game offensively, we are not sure if they can beat them.

The Miners loss 31-28 against Tulsa, they covered the betting spread as underdogs on that matchup.
