New York Knicks @ Boston Celtics The sites listed on the sportsbook reviews had the Knicks listed among the teams most likely to knock off the Heat in the Eastern Conference, and the fact that they were forced to match up with a veteran Celtics’ team in the first round is the perfect chance to prepare them for that run. Boston was expected to respond at home after being bounced by New York in consecutive game to open the series, and they will be fighting for their playoff lives in game four. The Knicks understand the importance of getting through this series as fast as possible, but don’t expect the Celtics to let them walk right through them without a fight.
My Pick: Boston Celtics – 2.5 Miami Heat @ Milwaukee Bucks Brandon Jennings should have never opened his mouth. Bucks’ fans probably knew that before this series began, but now that Milwaukee is on the verge of elimination it is clear that the Heat have no intention of even letting them have the pride that would come with earning a single win in the series. Miami won 27-straight games during the regular season to set a franchise record, but the focus now is winning 16-straight playoff games and repeating as NBA champions, so don’t expect the Bucks to be alive in the week leading up to the Kentucky Derby odds race.
