Turner finished with ten points, including the layup that put the Sixers up 76-75. He added a pair of free with 12 seconds remaining.
Jrue Holiday had 18 points and Andre Iguodala added 13 more, seven assists and six rebounds for the Sixers, who in the first game victory to let go blowing a ten points.
Kevin Garnett scored 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Ray Allen scored 17 points for Boston.
The third game will be played Wednesday in Philadelphia.
This was the first victory for the Sixers in a playoff matchup in Boston since 1982. They did it despite losing the ball 19 times and be overcome by the home side 47-36 in rebounds account.
Boston was close to repeating the comeback of the first game, which won 92-91. Philadelphia led 57-49 starting the fourth quarter, but the Celtics tied it twice before going up 72-71 with a three pointer by Avery Bradley.
However, the Sixers are not daunted in the game and regained the advantage in a tight definition in the final.
"We learned the lesson of the first game," said Doug Collins, coach of the Sixers. "We achieved the main goal, go with the home court advantage. Now we have to keep doing the work in Philadelphia "
