Basketball Bets: Toronto Raptors vs. Boston Celtics

Toronto Raptors vs. Boston Celtics PicksTime is running out for the Toronto Raptors as their recent losing skid is putting their post season hopes in jeopardy. Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been having a good season, but they are not playing as good as they have in the past. This should be an interesting matchup as the Raptors are coming off a close win, and the Celtics play well at home.

Toronto Raptors

The 25-39 Raptors need to win from here on out if they hope to make the playoffs. They are 9-23 on the road and are coming off a win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Stand-out Rudy Gay did travel with the team to Boston, but his start is questionable. The Raptors will also be missing former 1st round pick Andrea Bargnani as he is out with a strained right elbow. The chances of the Raptors winning this one are pretty slim, but if they catch the Celtics having a bad game they might be able to come away with a win.

Boston Celtics

Boston might be missing Paul Pierce who is the team’s leading scorer. Whenever the Celtics are without Pierce, they play very badly, however, they have been ok without point guard Rajon Rondo who leads the team in assists and steals. The home court advantage will come into play tonight as the Celtics are going for their 10th win in a row at home, and are 22-9 overall at the TD Garden. They lost their last two on the road so they will be expecting to make up for it tonight.

Many sports books and bookies are favoring Boston to win this game by 6 points. Right now there is no over/under set, but both team average about 96 points per game. Check out the latest 5dimes review for the latest over/under line and more sports betting info.
