Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday achieved its fourth consecutive win at home against Oklahoma City Thunder (90-87), thanks to a great performance by Kobe Bryant 17 points, and the Spanish power forward Pau Gasol 18 points, which was again fundamental in the triumph.
The Lakers confirmed its rebirth after three consecutive wins to bind Hawks, Blazers and Clippers. With the win, the Cavaliers were entrenched in third place in the Western Conference just ahead of the Thunder that, surely, again embarrass those of Phil Jackson in a hypothetical play-off. "
The Spanish power forward Pau Gasol emerged as strong man of shock and in the final seconds caused an offensive foul essential for success in Oklahoma. Odom could kill off the match but missed two free throws with ten seconds left and the Thunder even arranged for a double chance to win the match, but neither Durant nor Harden were right from the triple.
