The Oklahoma City Thunder withstood strong challenges by the Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies through the first two rounds of the Western conference playoffs, but until now they haven’t had to face the power of an All Star performer like Dallas Mavericks’ forward Dirk Nowitzki. Nowitzki looked unstoppable dropping 48 NBA odds points on the Thunder in a 121-112 game one win, as Oklahoma City searched for an answer to slow him down without success. The Thunder will take in the film and regroup in anticipation of a better result in game two, but closing the sports betting gap between the two sides could come down to superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook stepping up on offense.
Durant was a monster in game one with 40 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, but his effort was overshadowed by Nowitzki’s incredible 48-point night. The All Star forward shot over 50-percent and missed just one of his 19 free throw attempts, but it didn’t compare to what the Mavericks threw at them. Nowitzki didn’t miss a single free throw setting a playoff-record by nailing each of his 24 attempts, while Jason Terry and JJ Barea combined for 45 points off of the bench.

If last summer, the Cleveland Cavaliers received one of the most important low blows in its history (if not the most), with the departure of the prodigal son to South Beach, this has changed and the tide of fortune has partnered with them, giving them the privilege of choosing in the 1st position of the next NBA betting Draft (June 23).
Nick Gilbert was 14 years old, and son of the owner of the franchise, which represented the Ohio franchise, and who will in all front pages today.
The Cavs had two balls in the lottery drum.
Their own, which had 19.9% of the one, and one from the Clippers, and had only a 2.8% chance.
Interestingly was the least options that had ended up taking the upper hand, and the Cavs have the 1 st and 4 th election.

There is no city where the hurt has been stronger at the end of the NBA scores season than in Dallas, Texas, where the beloved Mavericks have become nothing more than perennial entertainers over the past few years. There is always that same optimism, that same sense that the team has what it takes to go all the way, the strong finish to the regular season, and then of course the collapse at the end. That won’t happen in 2011 with the Dallas Mavericks finally earning their due, as they get their revenge and cool off Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat in the NBA finals.
It was Wade and the Heat that came back with three straight wins to knock off Dallas in the 2006 NBA finals, the first time in franchise history that the Mavericks had even gotten that far. It seems fitting that a team with an owner as engaged as Mark Cuban and fans as diehard as the ones that consistently sellout the American Airlines Center gets more on their resume than a single conference title, and this year Rick Carlisle seems as though he has enough talent to get the online sports betting job done.
