2013 NBA Finals Free PicksThe San Antonio Spurs seemed to have exactly what they needed to knock off the Miami Heat in game one of the NBA Finals. That all fell apart in game two, and now it will be on the Spurs to respond. The NBA Finals will shift to San Antonio for games three, four, and five with each team having won a game, which means it will take a home sweep for the Spurs to avoid a return trip to South Beach. That is a lot to ask from a San Antonio team that was awful in game two, but if they can adjust and come out with a much more fundamentally sound approach then they will have the chance to take the price per head series lead with game three on Tuesday night.

NBA Finals PredictionsIt is absolutely amazing that 14 years after making their first trip to the NBA Finals, San Antonio Spurs’ head coach Gregg Popovich and Tim Duncan are back in the championship series looking to add to their resume with another NBA title. The tandem of Popovich and Duncan has never lost in the NBA Finals, going a perfect 5-0 on the biggest stage of them all. This Spurs’ team will certainly have its work cut out for them against Lebron James and the Miami Heat, but the veteran coaching of Popovich and the play of Duncan should be the sportsbook reviews difference in them getting the job done.

It will be on Popovich to game plan around Lebron and figure out the best way to limit what he can do at the offensive end of the floor, but just as important will be how the Spurs answer back on offense. Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole have both shown flashes of strong play throughout the postseason, but they should be no match for Tony Parker and Popovich must find a way to get him as many looks as possible. San Antonio is also a much deeper team than Miami, and they must find a way to move the ball and try and tired out the Heat at the defensive end of the floor. The Spurs can play both big and small, and it will be on Popovich to determine in live betting situations which lineup gives his team the best chance to win.
