The Hornets received the worst news to hear the results of recent medical tests they did to Chris Paul and found that suffers more injury than expected in his left knee.
The results showed that Paul suffers a small meniscus tears that can lead to miss a month of competition.
The injury will prevent him from playing next to Paul All Star scheduled for February 14, for which he was selected as a reserve in the Western Conference team.
The All-Star Game is the featured event of All-Star Weekend, and it is held on a Sunday night. All-Star Weekend also includes a number of popular exhibition games and competitions featuring NBA players and alumni as well as players from the WNBA and D-League.

It’s not as big as the Super Bowl spread right now, but online betting players will definitely be treated to an exciting matchup in the NBA on Saturday as New Orleans travels to Memphis to face the Grizzlies, who have been unbeatable at home lately.
Hornets vs Grizzlies odds – Saturday, January 29, 8:00 PM ET
The Hornets went three 3-1 on a recent Western swing, but they’ll a hot Chicago team on Friday night before making the trip to Memphis. Chris Paul has been playing out of his mind lately, averaging 26.4 points, 10.6 assists and 2.2 steals in his last five games, and he’s had to carry a load because David West is trying to fight through an ankle injury. He did come out with 17 points and 12 boards in a win on Wednesday in Golden State, but we’re wondering how much it will bother him to play on back-to-back nights (when the Hornets have a 4-5 record).
The Grizzlies will also be completing a back-to-back on Saturday, as they head to San Antonio on Friday night. Memphis is only 1-8 in the second half of these kind of games, but that victory came at the FedEx Forum, where the Grizzlies have set up a fortress. The Grizzlies have won 11 in a row at home, and if anyone had told you to take bookmaker odds on Zach Randolph being named to the All-Star team, you have stayed far away. But there he is, averaging 21.0 points and 11.6 boards while not being a distraction for the first time in his career.

NBA Betting – Thunder wrap up road trip in Cleveland |

If you’ve been watching the Super Bowl line, you’ll see the Jets have pulled out a couple of upsets away from home. Oklahoma City has also been away from home, and they won the first two games of their road trip. It’ll conclude on Saturday when they face Cleveland, who are coming off a big win over the defending NBA champs.
Thunder vs Cavaliers odds – Saturday, January 23, 7:30 PM ET
The Thunder beat Atlanta and Minnesota earlier in the week, and they’ll have a tough game against another surprising team in Memphis before facing the Cavaliers. For a young team, the Thunder are excellent defensively, coming in sixth in points allowed, and they were 4-14 when they allow 100 points or more as of Friday. They also have Kevin Durant, who ranks third in the NBA in scoring, and the Thunder were 16-2 when they scored 100 points or more. If you’re looking for a darkhorse to rise, no one wants to see Oklahoma City in the playoffs, and the payout would be well worth the price per head.
