Tums Fast Relief 500 Betting Preview at BSN SportsThe drivers of the Sprint Cup Series will hit the track at Martinsville Speedway on the afternoon of Sunday, October 25 for the circuit's next event, the Tums Fast Relief 500.

Jimmie Johnson holds a 90-point lead on Mark Martin in the driver standings heading into Martinsville, as he picked up the checkered flag last time out in the NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Matt Kenseth was second at Lowe's, followed by Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon, Joey Logano, Clint Bowyer, Casey Mears, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., and Kurt Busch. Ryan Newman was 11th, Tony Stewart was 13th, Greg Biffle was 16th, Mark Martin was 17th, Brian Vickers was 34th, Juan Montoya was 35th, Carl Edwards was 39th, and Denny Hamlin was 42nd.

Gordon jumped two spots into third place in the standings at Lowe's; he's 135 points back of first-place Johnson. Stewart, Kurt Busch, Montoya, Biffle, Newman, Kahne, Edwards, Hamlin, and Vickers, in order, round out the Chase Top 12.

Johnson and Gordon have had the most career success at Martinsville. Johnson has picked up six Cup wins on the track, visiting victory lane in five of the past six events at Martinsville. Gordon has seven career Cup wins at Martinsville, most recently in 2005.

Martin and Stewart have two Cup wins apiece on the track. Denny Hamlin won the Goody's Cool Orange 500 at Martinsville in the 2008 season, while Kurt Busch took the checkered flag in the Old Dominion 500 there back in 2002.

After racing at Martinsville the drivers of the Sprint Cup Series will move on to Talladega Superspeedway to continue the Chase at the Amp Energy 500 on November 1. The final three races of the year will then be held at Texas, Phoenix, and Homestead-Miami.
