Sylvania 300 Betting Preview at BSN SportsThe drivers of the Sprint Cup Series betting will take the track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon in the first race of this year's Chase, the Sylvania 300.

Denny Hamlin heads into the Chase on a roll, as he grabbed the checkered flag last time out in the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond International Raceway. Kurt Busch, Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, and Kyle Busch rounded out the Top 5 at that event.

Clint Bowyer, Brian Vickers, Sam Hornish Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Ryan Newman made up the rest of the Top 10 at Richmond. Jimmie Johnson finished 11th, Kasey Kahne was 12th, Greg Biffle was 13th, Carl Edwards was 15th, Tony Stewart was 17th, Juan Montoya was 19th, and Matt Kenseth ended up well back in 25th place.

Kenseth's poor finish at Richmond knocked him out of the Chase; he dropped from 12th place to 14th place in the driver standings. Also missing the cut was Kyle Busch despite his fifth-place showing over the weekend. Vickers replaced Kenseth in the Top 12.

Martin is the leader in the reshuffled Chase standings heading into this weekend's event in New Hampshire; with a series-leading four wins on the season Martin has 5,040 points atop the driver standings. Stewart and Johnson, who both won three times during the regular season, are 10 points back at 5,030.

Hamlin, Kahne, Gordon, Kurt Busch, Vickers, Edwards, Newman, Montoya, and Biffle round out the rest of the this year's Chase drivers.

Joey Logano picked up the win in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire back in June, while Biffle won the Sylvania 300 last season. Jeff Burton has four career wins on the track (most recently in 2000), while Gordon has three wins there (most recently in 1998).

Kurt Busch also has three New Hampshire wins, and he visited victory lane there in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 in 2008. Stewart, Johnson, and Newman have a pair of New Hampshire wins apiece. Hamlin, Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Bowyer have each picked up one Cup win on the track.

After racing at New Hampshire the Sprint Cup Series will move on to Dover International Speedway for the AAA 400 on September 27. Subsequent Chase races will take place at Kansas, Auto Club, Lowe's, Martinsville, Talladega, Texas, and Phoenix before the season wraps up at Homestead-Miami on November 22.
