Pennsylvania 500 Betting OddsJimmie Johnson will try to move closer to the top of the driver standings on Sunday when he takes the track at Pocono Raceway for the Pennsylvania 500.

Johnson held off Mark Martin and Tony Stewart for the victory last time out at the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Greg Biffle and Brian Vickers made up the rest of the top five drivers in that race.

Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, David Reutimann, Jeff Gordon, and Matt Kenseth also earned Top-10 results at Indianapolis. Juan Montoya was 11th, Ryan Newman was 14th, Carl Edwards was 15th, Kurt Busch was 27th, and Kyle Busch ended up 38th.

Stewart sits 192 points up on Johnson in the driver standings heading into the Pennsylvania 500. Gordon has dropped to third in the standings, 207 points back of Stewart after 20 events.

Kurt Busch, Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Newman, Kahne, Martin, Montoya, Biffle, and Kenseth also currently sit above the Chase cutoff line. Reutimann is 13th in the standings, 68 points back of Kenseth. Kyle Busch has fallen to 14th place.

Edwards has won twice at Pocono Raceway, including at last year's Pennsylvania 500. Stewart won the Pocono 500 earlier this year and in 2003. Gordon has four Pocono wins on his resume, most recently at the Pocono 500 in 2007.

Johnson, Hamlin, Kurt Busch, and Bobby Labonte also have multiple career wins at Pocono. Kahne won the Pocono 500 in 2008, and Newman took the checkered flag in the Pennsylvania 500 in 2003.

After racing at Pocono the drivers of the Sprint Cup Series will move on to Watkins Glen for the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen on August 9. The Sprint Cup August schedule then ends with races at Michigan and Bristol.
