Latest Odds to win the 2011 Kobalt Tools 500 |

The race for the second-last time this NASCAR betting season on Sprint Cup Series will be this Sunday afternoon in the Kobalt Tools 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
Tony Stewart came out on top at the AAA Texas 500 last time out, visiting Victory Lane in the race after holding off Carl Edwards and Kasey Kahne.
Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle rounded out the Top 5 at the AAA Texas 500, while Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Martin Truex Jr., Clint Bowyer, and A.J. Allmendinger also turned in Top-10 results at the event.
Edwards now sits just three points up on Stewart in the driver standings after 34 of 36 races this season, with Kevin Harvick 33 points behind in third place on that board.
Gordon won the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix back in February, and he also won that race on the track back in 2007.

This Sunday afternoon in the Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway the Chase for the Sprint Cup will continue. 
Clint Bowyer took the checkered flag last time out in the Good Sam Club 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway, holding off Jeff Burton and Dave Blaney for the trip to Victory Lane.
Brad Keselowski and Brian Vickers rounded out the Top 5 at Talladega, while Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin, Michael Waltrip, and Martin Truex Jr. made up the rest of the Top 10.

Carl Edwards finished 11th in the Good Sam Club 500, and Matt Kenseth was 18th.

The Chase for the Sprint Cup continues on Sunday, October 2nd afternoon when the drivers of NASCAR hit the track in the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway. 
Tony Stewart raced to another victory last time out, taking the checkered flag in the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Brad Keselowski and Greg Biffle followed Stewart across the finish line at New Hampshire, while Jeff Gordon and Brian Vickers rounded out the Top 5 drivers. Matt Kenseth, David Ragan, Carl Edwards, Juan Montoya, and Regan Smith also picked up Top-10 results at the Sylvania 300.
Stewart now leads the Sprint Cup standings by seven points on Kevin Harvick, with Keselowski up to third place on that list after two Chase events.

The drivers of NASCAR will begin the Chase for the Sprint Cup on Sunday afternoon in the Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. 
Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag last time out in the Wonderful Pistachios 400 at Richmond International Raceway. Carl Edwards and Jeff Gordon followed Harvick across the finish line, with David Ragan and Kurt Busch also picking up Top-5 results.
Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, and Mark Martin made up the rest of the Top 10 in the Wonderful Pistachios 400 at Richmond.
Kyle Busch, Harvick, Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Edwards, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, Newman, Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Brad Keselowski, and Hamlin locked down the 12 spots in the Chase.
David Reutimann took the checkered flag at Chicagoland last year, when the race was held in July and called the LifeLock.com 400.
