The Philadelphia Phillies and Detroit Tigers don’t play each other very often, but when they meet this Saturday, they’ll produce one of the more attractive pitching duels of the season.
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Detroit Tigers – Saturday, July 27
In an online casino, it is hard to know which numbers matter. When you look at a terrific pitching matchup, just how are you going to find an edge for one player and one team over and against the other?
Regardless of the pay per head sites you prefer, you will have to acknowledge that upon examining 5dimes.eu reviews for this one specific game, Detroit probably deserves the nod, albeit a narrow one. Philadelphia starting pitcher Cliff Lee and Detroit starter Max Scherzer are both top-tier pitchers with similar ERA numbers, but as you pry open their stories in 2013, you’ll see that Scherzer has been a little bit better in recent weeks… or perhaps, that Lee has been a little worse.

The best sports betting websites love the second half of the MLB season because so much can change in a short period of time. There are several teams in the middle of pennant races that are going to have to face teams on the verge of being knocked out of playoff contention when action gets started this weekend. If you are a fan of desperate baseball, then this weekend has several games you will be interested in. The sportsbook agents will be keeping a close watch on each of these games this weekend.
Saturday – Tampa Bay Rays @ New York Yankees
In one week’s time, the New York Yankees had Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez in the lineup and then the two stars were gone. As a player gets older, it can be more difficult to rehab from long-term injuries and that is exactly what happened to Jeter and Rodriguez. The other problem the Yankees are fighting is the poor play of its starting pitching. It seems like the wheels are coming off the New York Yankees’ 2013 season, but they can use this game against the Tampa Bay Rays as a springboard to a late-season playoff push. Unfortunately for the Yankees, the sports book experts very little chance that New York comes out of this game with a win.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays Betting Picks |

The biggest price per head issue facing the Toronto Blue Jays this season has been inept starting pitching, as the team ranks 29th in quality starts and 24th in team ERA. A cast that was expected to be among the best in the American League has been absolutely awful, and the biggest reason why the preseason World Series favorites finished the first half of the season four games below .500. One of those starters that have struggled this year is the reigning National League Cy Young award winner RA Dickey, who is 8-10 with a 4.69 ERA. Dickey will get the nod when Toronto wraps up a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays, a start he should feel confident heading in to.

The Oakland Athletics may have to win 20-straight games to get the attention they deserve from the sportsbook reviews readers. For now, they are focused on getting back to the postseason any way that they can. The Athletics may be the team that most deserves to be talked about more, but they have a tough task ahead of them with the Texas Rangers right behind them in the American League West as the second half of the regular season gets underway.
Baltimore Orioles @ Texas Rangers Friday, 8:05 PM ET
The Rangers posted just a .500 record in their final 10 price per head games heading in to the All-Star break, and that is the difference between them and an Athletics’ team that had two more wins over that same span and own a two-game lead in the division. Texas has been excellent at home all year, but face a tough challenge to start the second half with the Orioles in town.
