Sportsbook.com gets the attention for Constant Payment Disputes

Sportsbook.com ClaimsA player from Sportsbook.ag had contacted SportsBookReview to hopefully get assistance on the following complaint:

“I placed a wager on the Kentucky Derby for I'll Have Another to WIN for $40. I made sure on the website that the lines given at that time were purely informational, and it says that {on the Sportsbook.ag website}. However, when I was paid out, I was given 9-1 odds, or $18.00 per $2 for a win, rather than the track odds of $32.60. This difference cost me $252 on my winning wager. Now the sportsbook is refusing to pay me the money, and only paid me out $400 on a wager that should have paid $652. This is a ridiculous situation, because I guarantee that if they offered morning lines at 9-1, and a horse moved to 2-1 at post, they certainly wouldn't pay out the additional +700. I have demanded that they pay my money, and they are refusing, saying that the wager was paid correctly.”

SportsBookReview.com followed up this issue that was reported on May 6th. Management from Sportsbook.com cooperated with SBR on this and addressed the issue in hopes that the dispute would be closed. They clarified that the customer´s bet was placed over the fixed odds section of the sportsbook and not in the racebook were is should had been. This resulted in the non-track payout. After this explanation SportsBookReview decided to close the dispute without further investigation. Sportsbook.com US remains as a –D sportsbook in the SBR ratings.

Another complaint has been reported against this same company. The customer tells SportsBookReview that back in April 18th of this year, he requested a payout of $1100. The normal time frame for a payout process to be completed with this company is 15 to 20 business days. After taking 7 more days and not having a valid concrete update on why his cashout was taking so long, the customer then decided to contact Sportsbook Review for some help. As of this moment, SBR is following up on the issue in an attempt to get closure on the dispute.
